I thought I would start with one of the World’s most famous couples, whose story we know only too well. With the

consultation of an astrologer the mismatch could have been prevented, but of course that’s history.

The Suns are in relative harmony, both being in the Water signs of Scorpio and Cancer, so we expect that they got on well initially. If the degrees had been substantially closer to create a harmonious 120-degree Trine, it would have given great rapport. However, when we move to their Moon signs, we see an obvious issue. Both in the fixed Signs of Taurus and Aquarius, it indicates that there will be significant difficulties in their homelife and looking after each other emotionally – they don’t seem to connect to each other on that level.

Their general quality of communication seems good with a fairly close 120-degree trine between their Mercury placements, but with some clear warning including a Mercury-Neptune conjunction and quite an accurate Mercury-Pluto semisquare. The former can indicate vagueness and deceit from the Neptunian person and the latter a sense of underlying irritation and control from the Plutonian.

In terms of attraction and sexual compatibility the indications are fairly poor with an accurate semisquare in neighbouring signs. This ‘hard’ angle would suggest attraction certainly, but also difficulty in timing and compatibility that would be almost impossible to resolve. Being neighbouring signs they are also very different in nature and therefore need.

Both Jupiter and Saturn are strongly linked with other planets for better or worse illustrating their prosperity and strong ties. Nevertheless, I would suggest that this was a poor love match in the long term.
